REGISTRATION CLOSING ON MARCH 1

Registration for the summer baseball season will close on March 1.  Currently, with the exception of the second session of Little Sluggers, registrations are subject to a $25 late fee and kids are placed on a waiting list.  We hope to be able to place all kids that sign up onto a team.  On March 1, registration will close and there will be no waiting list established or registrations accepted as of that date.

Reduced/Free lunch reduced registration fees

*** If you qualify for reduced/free lunch through the school system, please e-mail us and we will tell you how to register.  We offer a 50% reduction in the registration fees for all of our programs.  In addition, if you live in the city of De Pere, we will provide you an application for the Park & Rec scholarship which can help pay the other 50% of the registration fee.

NEW FOR 2015 - For pre-K and Kindergarten kids, we have added a second session of Little Sluggers.  That league will start the week of June 7.  If your child wants to play both sessions, you will need to register twice.

Summer Program Descriptions

The Little Sluggers Coach Pitch league is for kids in pre-K or Kindergarten. Kids receive five pitches and if they do not hit it then it is placed on a tee. We now offer two sessions of Little Sluggers. The first session begins in April and ends in early June.  The second session begins in early June and ends in early July.  You do not need to play in the first session to sign up for the second session.  Cost for either session is $35

The Pee Wee Minor League is for kids in Kindergarten, 1st grade or 2nd grade.  For Kindergartners, this league is appropriate for kids with advanced skills. Kids hit off a pitching machine and more formal baseball rules (including outs) are introduced. There are no standings or league tournament and Minors players are not eligible to try out for a tournament team. The season begins in April and ends in early June.  Cost is $45.

The Pee Wee Majors League is for 1st and 2nd graders. There is an opening weekend of play in May and a season-ending league tournament. Kids hit off a pitching machine and more formal baseball rules (including outs) are introduced. This league is more competitive than Minors. Players interested in trying out for a tournament team MUST sign up for Pee Wee Majors. The season begins in April and ends in mid-July.  Cost is $65.

Kelly Danen American League is for kids in 3rd and 4th grade.  This is a kid-pitch league and nearly all baseball rules apply (with the notable exception of leading off).  This league plays on Tuesday and Thursday nights.  Game times start at 5:00, 6:30 and 8:00.  The season runs from April through mid-July.  Opening day is Saturday of Mother's Day weekend.  Cost is $80.  (A $20 non-resident fee applies if you do not live in the city limits.)

Kelly Danen National League is for kids in 5th and 6th grade.  This is a kid-pitch league and nearly all baseball rules apply (with the notable exception of leading off).  This league plays on Monday and Wednesday nights.  Game times start at 5:00, 6:30 and 8:00.  The season runs from April through mid-July.  Opening day is Saturday of Mother's Day weekend.  Cost is $80.  (A $20 non-resident fee applies if you do not live in the city limits.)

The Pony League is for kids in 7th grade.  We participate in the Bay Area Pony League which means games are held throughout northeast Wisconsin.  Home games are played at Gandrud Field at Southwest Park.  Normal baseball rules are followed.  The diamond dimensions are an intermediate size between Little League (like Kelly Danen) and high school.  Cost is $100.  (A $20 non-resident fee applies if you do not live in the city limits.)

The Babe Ruth League is for kids in 8th or 9th grade.  We participate in the Bay Area Babe Ruth League which means games are held throughout northeast Wisconsin.  Home games are played at the high school field at either West De Pere or De Pere.  Cost is $125.  (A $20 non-resident fee applies if you do not live in the city limits.)
